Hot, happy, tired, clutching her medal, water bottle and chocolate bar. Well done Zoe. Posted by Picasa
It was a lovely sunny Sunday on 16th October 2005 and Zoe was taking part in a 10k run at Sandringham for Cancer Research. This is the first time she has taken part in a run and she was quite nervous wondering whether she would be able to run the distance. She had done quite a bit of prepartion and had also collected a fair amount in sponsorship.
As you will see from the pictures the run was extremely successful. It was very touching to see so many people turn up to raise funds for Cancer Research and many of the runners wore dedications on the back of their tee shirts. I was full of admiration for the young and not so young running that day but especially for Zoe.

I am sure she is in there somewhere. Posted by Picasa

An animated Charlie, obviously just seen Zoe. Posted by Picasa
